Eicher Engineering Components Revenue Hits ₹2,703 Crore in FY26, Grows 34%

Eicher Engineering Components (EEC), the component business of VolvoEicher Commercial Vehicles (VECV), recorded its highest-ever annual revenue of ₹2,702.7 crore in FY26, including captive sales. The company registered a strong 34% year-on-year growth, supported by rising vehicle volumes, faster manufacturing execution and increased investment in research and development.

EEC Completes New Dewas Assembly Line in Eight Months

A major highlight for EEC during FY26 was the completion of a new axle and transmission assembly line at its Dewas facility for the newly launched Eicher Pro X range.

The flexible production line was completed in just eight months and can manage multiple combinations of vehicle variants. This demonstrates EEC's manufacturing flexibility and ability to quickly support new product launches.

VECV Crosses 1 Lakh Vehicle Sales Milestone

EEC's strong performance came during a record year for its parent company, VECV. According to Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) filings sourced through Tracxn, VECV crossed the 1 lakh annual vehicle sales milestone for the first time.

The company delivered 103,404 trucks and buses in FY26, marking 14.7% volume growth and exceeding the domestic commercial vehicle industry's 13% growth.

The Eicher brand alone recorded 100,980 units, up 15.1% year-on-year. Exports also performed strongly, increasing 33.9% to 6,933 units.

VECV's consolidated revenue from operations reached ₹27,076.61 crore, including net sales of ₹26,514.25 crore, representing 14.8% growth. Consolidated profit after tax (PAT) stood at ₹1,466.56 crore.

On a standalone basis, revenue increased 14.8% to ₹26,995.89 crore, while standalone PAT reached ₹1,455.19 crore.

R&D Investment Supports New Pro X Technologies

VECV's growth was also supported by higher spending on research, development and intellectual property. During FY26, the company recorded ₹283.38 crore in standalone capital R&D expenditure and another ₹312.03 crore in standalone revenue R&D spending.

These investments resulted in 252 patent filings and more than 3,300 new ideas through VECV's innovation platform.

The company's technology development led to several new products and features, including the Pro X Diesel with Lean NOx Trap (LNT) technology and Electronic Power Steering, along with the Pro X CNG with single-point injection.

VECV also introduced patented Quad Lock leak-proof joints and Driver State Monitoring Systems (DSMS). Its alternate-fuel portfolio was further expanded with electric and liquefied natural gas (LNG) commercial vehicles.
