  • Rollout starts in Bengaluru, followed by Delhi, Chennai, and Hyderabad.

Electric mobility platform BLive has announced a major expansion plan with the launch of BLive PRIME, a new four-wheeler franchise model backed by an investment of ₹100 crore. Through this initiative, the company aims to deploy 1,000 electric mini-trucks across India over the next two years.

The new program is designed to strengthen India's growing last-mile logistics sector while creating investment opportunities in the electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem.

Focus on Growing Demand for Last-Mile Deliveries

According to BLive, the launch comes at a time when demand for last-mile logistics services is rising rapidly across the country. The sector is witnessing a growth rate of around 15-20% CAGR, largely driven by the expansion of e-commerce and quick-commerce platforms.

To meet this increasing demand, BLive plans to begin the rollout of its electric mini-truck fleet in Bengaluru. The expansion will then move to major Tier-1 cities including Delhi, Chennai, and Hyderabad in the coming months.

Franchise Model Opens New Investment Opportunities

Under the BLive PRIME model, investors can participate with a minimum investment of ₹50 lakh through a franchisee-owned, company-operated (FOCO) structure.

In this model, franchise partners own the electric mini-truck assets, while BLive takes responsibility for fleet operations. The company will handle vehicle deployment, utilisation management, maintenance, and overall operational activities.

This structure allows investors to benefit from EV asset ownership without having to manage daily fleet operations.

Tata Ace EV Among Key Vehicles in the Fleet

BLive stated that its commercial EV fleet will include vehicles such as the Tata Ace EV, which has become a popular choice for last-mile delivery applications in India.

The company believes that electric mini-trucks are well-suited for logistics operations due to their lower running costs and growing acceptance among delivery service providers.

Existing Partnerships Strengthen Expansion Plans

BLive already supports electric mini-truck deployments for several logistics and delivery companies. Its existing clients include Hyperpure, Porter, and Delhivery, giving the company practical experience in managing EV fleets for commercial operations.

These partnerships are expected to support the scale-up of the BLive PRIME initiative as demand for sustainable logistics solutions continues to increase.

CEO Highlights Commercial EV Opportunity

Commenting on the launch, Sandeep Mukherjee, Co-Founder and CEO of BLive, said that the next phase of India's EV transition will be driven by commercial applications, especially last-mile logistics, where vehicle utilisation is high and demand remains predictable.

He added that BLive PRIME has been designed to connect investor capital with this growing demand. The model enables investors to own EV assets while BLive manages deployment and operations, creating a streamlined pathway for fleet expansion.

Supporting India's EV Ecosystem

According to the company, BLive PRIME aims to accelerate EV adoption in commercial transportation by enabling scalable fleet growth through investor participation. The initiative is also expected to support the electrification of high-frequency delivery operations and create asset-backed investment opportunities linked to the expanding EV market.

BLive describes itself as an electric mobility platform focused on driving EV adoption through fleet solutions, franchise models, charging infrastructure, and technology-driven operations. The company has established a strong presence in India's last-mile delivery segment and continues to expand its role in the country's transition toward sustainable mobility.

CMV360 Says

With a ₹100 crore investment commitment and a target of deploying 1,000 electric mini-trucks, BLive is taking a significant step toward strengthening India's EV-powered logistics network. Through its BLive PRIME franchise model, the company aims to bring together investors, fleet operators, and logistics businesses to accelerate commercial EV adoption. As e-commerce and quick-commerce sectors continue to grow, initiatives like BLive PRIME could play an important role in expanding sustainable last-mile delivery solutions across major Indian cities.
