BillionE to expand monitoring to airport ground support operations.
Netradyne has analysed over 25 billion miles of driving data globally.
BillionE Mobility has taken a major step toward safer electric transportation by deploying Netradyne’s advanced AI-based Driver•i platform across its growing fleet. This move strengthens the company’s focus on driver safety, training, and efficient fleet management as India’s electric mobility sector continues to expand.
The Driver•i platform goes beyond traditional in-cab alerts. It uses artificial intelligence to monitor driver behaviour in real time, analyse every journey, and flag risks such as:
Distracted driving
Tailgating
Sudden or unsafe driving actions
It also highlights safe driving habits, helping companies build a positive safety culture.
Sanjeev Kulkarni, CEO of BillionE Mobility, said that while their Ashok Leyland electric vehicles already included basic Netradyne alert systems, the company needed deeper, data-rich insights to support driver improvement and operational efficiency.
By adopting Driver•i, fleet managers now receive:
Detailed driver performance reports
On-demand video access
Real-time trip analytics
Insights to boost both safety and productivity
These capabilities are especially important for EV fleets, where performance monitoring directly affects operations and energy management.
BillionE is also planning to bring AI-powered monitoring to its airport ground support vehicles. The focus here is to improve safety for passengers and staff, strengthen protocols, and reduce risks during airport movements.
Durgadutt Nedungadi, Senior Vice President for EMEA and APAC at Netradyne, said the partnership unites two innovation-driven companies. He highlighted how Driver•i is designed to support modern electric fleet requirements.
Founded in 2015 and headquartered in San Diego, Netradyne provides AI-based fleet management solutions worldwide. The company has analysed over 25 billion miles of driving data through its vision-backed risk detection systems.
BillionE Mobility operates in India’s electric mobility-as-a-service segment. The company provides electric buses, electric trucks, and essential infrastructure such as charging systems and fleet management solutions to support clean transportation.
