50 new service touchpoints planned across Central India.
Builds on 90 existing service workshops in the region.
Customers will get a service point every 25 km within a year.
21 dealers and 600+ trained technicians are already operational.
Focus on best mileage, comfort, reliability, and strong after-sales support.
Ashok Leyland has announced a major step to boost its service presence in Central India by adding 50 new touchpoints across the region. This expansion builds on the company’s existing 90 service workshops, creating a denser and more accessible service network for customers.
Currently, Ashok Leyland operates with 21 dealers in Central India and is supported by over 600 Ashok Leyland Trained Technicians (ALTTs). At present, customers can find a service point every 50 kilometres, but with this expansion, the company plans to reduce the distance to 25 kilometres within the next year, ensuring faster service and better uptime for vehicle owners.
Viplav Shah, Head - LCV Business at Ashok Leyland, highlighted the importance of this initiative, saying: “Madhya Pradesh and the Central India region have always been a prime market for us. Our LCV range offers five key values – Best in Class Mileage, Payload, Loading Area, Comfort, and Reliability. Ashok Leyland’s uptime guarantee program ‘Bharosa’ and the industry-first 5-year, 2 lakh km warranty reflect our commitment to customers. We are dedicated to delivering top-quality LCV products and expanding our network to meet the region’s specific requirements.”
This expansion will significantly enhance customer convenience, ensuring they receive faster service and support, minimizing downtime for their vehicles.
Central India is emerging as one of the fastest-growing markets for commercial vehicles. With rapid infrastructure development, improved road connectivity, and rising industrial activity, the demand for light commercial vehicles (LCVs) is at an all-time high. These vehicles play a vital role in transporting construction materials, supporting small businesses, and meeting last-mile delivery needs.
By expanding its network, Ashok Leyland is positioning itself as a trusted partner for businesses and entrepreneurs in the region, ready to meet the increasing demand.
