12 service bays and 24x7 operations.
11 workshops in West Bengal currently.
5 new touchpoints planned in 2026.
The total network is expected to reach 450 touchpoints in 2026.
Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV) has inaugurated a new BharatBenz authorised dealership, Agile Trucking, in Raniganj, West Burdwan district of West Bengal. This move aims to strengthen sales, service, and spare parts support across southern West Bengal’s key industrial corridors.
The new facility increases BharatBenz’s service workshops in West Bengal to 11, with five more touchpoints planned in 2026.
The Agile Trucking dealership is strategically located on NH2, around 20 km from Andal Domestic Airport. This prime location allows the facility to efficiently serve fleet operators in major industrial hubs such as Durgapur, Raniganj, and Asansol.
All BharatBenz touchpoints in the state are positioned along important national highway corridors to ensure better connectivity and faster service access for customers.
Spread across 85,000 sq. ft., the dealership is a modern 3S facility offering Sales, Service, and Spares under one roof. It operates round the clock to support transporters and fleet owners.
Key Infrastructure Highlights:
12 service bays
4 accident repair bays
4 Mobile Reach Vans
65 trained personnel
Service capacity of over 500 vehicles per month
The facility is designed to improve vehicle uptime and reduce turnaround time for customers.
Rajiv Chaturvedi, President and Chief Business Officer, DICV, said that West Bengal remains a key market for BharatBenz due to strong infrastructure growth, industrial activity, and freight movement along major highways.
He highlighted that West Burdwan is strategically important because of its industrial and infrastructure development. With this new facility, BharatBenz aims to deliver reliable products, faster service turnaround, and a better ownership experience.
He also shared future expansion plans:
BharatBenz currently has 418 touchpoints across India.
In 2026, 32 more touchpoints will be added, taking the total to 450.
In West Bengal, five additional touchpoints will be introduced in 2026.
A new Regional Training Centre (RTC) will be set up in Kolkata by Q4 2026 to train engineers and enhance service quality at dealerships.
Vijayakumar K, CEO of Agile Trucking, said the new Raniganj facility reflects the company’s long-term commitment to the region. With advanced infrastructure, skilled manpower, and 24x7 operations, the dealership aims to help customers achieve higher uptime and better operational efficiency.
Agile Trucking has been associated with BharatBenz since July 2022 and has already sold over 400 vehicles. It currently operates three touchpoints in West Bengal, with the Raniganj dealership being the latest addition.
With this inauguration, BharatBenz has further strengthened its presence in southern West Bengal’s industrial belt. The Raniganj dealership is expected to support transporters operating in high-activity regions like Durgapur and Asansol, ensuring quicker service and better access to genuine spare parts.
The expansion reflects BharatBenz’s continued focus on improving reach, enhancing customer experience, and supporting fleet operators with reliable service infrastructure across key freight corridors.
