Segment-wise Gross CV Sales for August 2024
Performance: The company recorded an 8.18% decrease in Gross Commercial Vehicle Sales, including a 14% decline in the M&HCV category and a 0% growth in LCV.
Category-wise Breakdown: The M&HCV truck category sold 6,719 CVs, down from 7,822 in August 2023. For the LCV category, 5,800 CVs were sold in August 2024, compared to 5,813 in August 2023.

M&HCV Truck Segment: The Medium and Heavy Commercial Vehicle (M&HCV) truck category reported a decline of 17% in sales, with 6,385 units sold in August 2024 compared to 7,709 units in August 2023.
LCV Category: The Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) category saw a 0% growth, with 5,557 units sold in August 2024 compared to 5,532 units sold in the same month last year.

Decline in LCV Category: Ashok Leyland witnessed a decline in sales of 13.52% in the LCV category, with 243 units sold in August 2024, down from 281 units in August 2023.
