In a significant move aimed at expanding its footprint and contributing to the agricultural and power generation sectors, Tractors and Farm Equipment Ltd (TAFE) has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the government of Tamil Nadu.
The agreement was formalized during the Tamil Nadu Global Investors Meet 2024. TAFE, a leading player in the agriculture machinery industry, is set to diversify its operations by enhancing its Farm Equipment Division to develop an advanced range of farm machinery tailored for a variety of crops.
Additionally, the company plans to invest in upgrading its facility for the assembly and export of Silent Generators, targeting markets in the Middle East and Africa. A major highlight of this strategic move is TAFE's commitment to establishing a cutting-edge design and development facility in Tamil Nadu.
