Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has given a special Rakshabandhan gift to crores of women in the state by releasing the 27th installment of the Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana on 7 August 2025 from Narsinghgarh, Rajgarh district. This time, each beneficiary received ₹1,500, which includes the regular ₹1,250 monthly assistance and an additional ₹250 as Rakshabandhan Shagun.

Under this installment, ₹1,859 crore 1 lakh 32 thousand 350 was directly transferred to the bank accounts of 1,26,89,823 women beneficiaries through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer). The aim of the scheme is to empower women financially, improve health and nutrition, and increase their role in the family.
The scheme was launched in 2023 by then Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Till now, 26 installments have been credited to women’s accounts, amounting to a total transfer of nearly ₹28,000 crore. On average, the Madhya Pradesh government spends ₹1,550 crore per month on this initiative. In the 2025-26 financial year, till July, the government has already spent ₹6,198.88 crore on the scheme.
Beneficiaries can check their payment status by following these steps:
Visit the official website – https://cmladlibahna.mp.gov.in/
Click on “Application and Payment Status” on the homepage.
Enter your application number or member overall serial number.
Fill in the captcha code and request an OTP on your registered mobile number.
Enter the OTP and click “Search”.
The payment status will appear, showing whether the ₹1,500 has been credited.

Payments under government schemes are made via DBT and may take 1–2 days to reflect in accounts. Common reasons for delays include:
Bank account not linked with Aadhaar
Bank account not linked with DBT
Account-related errors
In such cases, visit your bank branch to update and correct your account details.
