In a major step towards transforming the agricultural sector, the Chhattisgarh government is organizing the Agri-Horti Buyer-Seller Conference 2025 on 28th and 29th June at the District Panchayat Complex, Jashpur. This two-day event aims to help farmers get better prices for their produce and connect them to national markets.
The conference is part of the “Krishi Kranti” campaign by the Chhattisgarh government. It is focused on giving a new identity and direction to agriculture, horticulture, and silk production in Jashpur district. These activities aim to help farmers understand the latest farming methods and improve their product value through better packaging and processing.
On 29th June, buyers and investors from across India will:
Visit farms in the district
Understand the quality and variety of local agricultural produce

Local products like Jashpuri mango, pear, Kodo-kutki, silk thread, and herbs will get a national platform through this event. Important stakeholders, including national and state-level agricultural institutes, exporters, and experts, have been invited to support farmers.
To motivate farmers, the conference will also host a crop quality competition:
Special focus on pear and mango produce
Aimed at promoting better quality crops
Encouraging farmers to adopt best farming practices
The conference is expected to open new doors for self-employment in:
Contract farming
