VECV and Baidyanath LNG Partner to Deploy 500 Eicher Pro 6055 LNG Trucks at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025

VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) Limited, a joint venture between Volvo Group and Eicher Motors, has signed a landmark agreement with Baidyanath LNG Private Limited at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The deal focuses on deploying 500 state-of-the-art Eicher Pro 6055 LNG trucks to promote green trucking routes and expand LNG corridors in India.

This collaboration builds on a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed on August 26, 2024, during the launch of Baidyanath LNG’s station in Nagpur. At the event, the first fleet of Eicher Pro 6055 LNG trucks was flagged off by Honorable Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Mr. Nitin Gadkari.

The partnership aims to accelerate India’s transition to clean fuel alternatives by developing a robust LNG ecosystem. This includes deploying advanced LNG trucks, training service technicians on LNG technology, and setting up LNG fueling stations across Central India.

Green Technology for a Cleaner Future

The Eicher Pro 6055 LNG truck boasts cutting-edge features that set new benchmarks in fuel efficiency, safety, and performance. Powered by Volvo Group’s globally proven VEGX8 6-cylinder engine, the truck delivers:

• 260HP of Power at 2200 RPM.
• 1000Nm of Torque between 1100-1800 RPM.

Its ergonomic cabin is equipped with advanced features like HVAC, an air-suspended driver seat for maximum comfort, and telematics systems for 24/7 monitoring.

All Eicher trucks, including the Pro 6055 LNG, are connected via the ‘My Eicher’ Fleet Management App, providing real-time insights to optimize performance and uptime.

With a nationwide network of over 1,000 touchpoints, including 470+ authorized service centers and 7,000+ retail outlets, Eicher ensures extensive service coverage. Additionally, its ‘Eicher Site Support’ program operates at 310+ locations for on-ground assistance.
