VE Commercial Vehicles Records 6,881 Units Sold in October 2025: Eicher CV Total Domestic Sales Show 5.88% Growth

Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles (VECV), a joint venture between Volvo Trucks and Eicher Trucks, announced a strong sales performance for October 2025. The company recorded 6,881 units sold, marking an 11.1% year-on-year growth compared to 6,196 units in October 2024.

Eicher Trucks Show Positive Performance

Eicher-branded commercial vehicles achieved 6,602 units in total sales, growing by 10.12% over the previous year. The consistent performance across domestic and export markets shows strong demand for Eicher’s light and medium-duty trucks.

Domestic Market Performance

In the domestic market, Eicher Trucks sold 6,117 units, showing a 5.88% increase compared to 5,777 units last year. The small commercial vehicle (SCV) and light & medium-duty (LMD) categories led this growth, while the heavy-duty segment experienced a slight dip.

The SCV and LMD segments remain the key growth drivers, while heavy-duty trucks saw a minor decline.

Export Sales Witness Strong Growth

Eicher’s export segment delivered an impressive 122.5% growth, driven by high global demand. The company exported 485 units in October 2025 compared to 218 units in October 2024.

These results highlight Eicher’s rising global footprint, especially in low and medium-duty truck markets.

Volvo Trucks Records Strong Momentum

Under the VECV group, Volvo Trucks achieved strong growth with 279 units sold in October 2025, compared to 201 units last year, marking a 38.8% rise. This growth reinforces Volvo’s strength in the premium heavy-duty truck segment for long-haul and specialized transport operations.

VECV Continues Its Upward Growth Path

Overall, VECV’s total sales reached 6,881 units in October 2025, reflecting strong performance across all categories. Despite a minor drop in domestic heavy-duty sales, the combined strength of Eicher’s exports and Volvo’s premium segment growth kept the company on an upward path.

The results indicate steady demand recovery, strong exports, and growing preference for VECV products across India and global markets.
