Tata Motors, a leading commercial vehicle manufacturer in India, has released the sales data for the month of October. With 80,825 units sold domestically in the month, the company has revealed 6% YoY growth. Total Tata CV sales stand at 34,317 and total PV sales have reached 48,637 units for October 2023.

HCV Trucks Sales

Tata Heavy Commercial Vehicle (HCV) sales reached a total of 10,204 for the month of October. Compared to 9,254 units sold in October 2022, this category of vehicles saw a 10% YoY growth.

ILMCV Trucks

For this category, Tata Motors recorded total sales of 5,351 units. Sales for the same category were at 4,690 units in October, indicating a +14% YoY change.

Passenger Carriers

Tata Motors sold 2,514 passenger carriers in October this year at a massive 43% growth compared to the 1,759 sales in October 2022.

SCV Cargo and Pickup

Vehicles under this category underwent a decline of 8% at 14,419 units being sold in October. In 2022, the sales were at a total of 15,618 units.

Tata MH&ICV sales were at 13,251 units in October 2022 and now the category reached 15,211 units in October 2023 in India. While total domestic and international sales including trucks and buses stand at 16,048 units.
