Mahindra SUVs and CVs Sales reached a highest ever total of 80,679 units in October 2023

Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd. saw an all-time high growth in October 2023 with SUV sales reaching 43,708 and CV sales at 25,715 units

One of India’s leading vehicle manufacturing companies, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., recorded a total of 80,679 sales in October 2023. The numbers indicate a 36% growth in sales when compared to sales of October 2022.

The President of the Automotive Division at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., Veejay Nakra, said that for the month of October this year, they recorded the highest-ever sales for Mahindra SUVs and CVs. In October, Mahindra SUV sales amounted to a total of 43,708 units and Mahindra CV sales also reached 25,715 units in total.

The Mahindra vehicle sales increased for three consecutive months, have reached their peak this month and are expected to continue so moving forward. In October, M&M Ltd. sold 44,264 vehicles overall including exports making a 36% growth.

Data for Light Commercial Vehicles with less than 2 tons weight (LCV < 2T)

For LCVs with less than 2 ton weight, M&M Ltd. sold 4,335 units in October 2023. Sales for the same category were at 4,562 units in October 2022, indicating a decline of -5%.

LCV 2T - 3.5T

For CVs under this category, Mahindra sales data listed the total sales of 20,349 units. Compared to October 2022 sales, at 15,728 units, a growth of 29% is noted.

LCV > 3.5T + MHCV

For this category, a total of 1,031 units were sold in October 2023. In October 2022, the numbers were at 690, resulting in an increment of 49% sales.

3 Wheelers (Including Mahindra electric 3Ws)

In October month, M&M Ltd. sold a total of 9,402 three-wheeler units including electric three-wheelers. Previously, in October 2022, M&M Ltd. had sold 5,081 total units which means an increase of 85% for this category.

Mahindra Vehicles Exports Sales Data

Mahindra is a widely-known multinational federation of companies which means their export sales are also important. For October 2023, Mahindra and its subsidiaries recorded a 33% decrease in export sales at 1,854 units which was 2,755 last year.
