The Modi government has released the 19th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme. Prime Minister Narendra Modi transferred Rs 22,000 crore to the bank accounts of 9.80 crore farmers during an event in Bhagalpur, Bihar.

What is PM-KISAN Scheme?

Launched in 2019, the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme provides income support to landholding farmers across India. Under this scheme, eligible farmers receive Rs 6,000 annually in three installments of Rs 2,000 each. The amount is directly credited to their bank accounts.

How to Check Your Name in the Beneficiary List?

Farmers can check their names in the PM-KISAN beneficiary list by following these steps:

  1. Visit the official PM Kisan website: https://pmkisan.gov.in

  2. Look for the "Payment Success" section displaying the map of India.

  3. On the right side, click the yellow tab labeled "Dashboard."

  4. A new page will open; go to the "Village Dashboard" tab.

  5. Select your State, District, Sub-District, and Panchayat.

  6. Click on the "Show" button.

  7. Select your details and click "Get Report."

  8. Your name will appear in the beneficiaries list if you are eligible.

Important Points for Farmers

To ensure seamless payment under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, farmers should follow these key steps:

  • Link their bank account with Aadhaar.

  • Complete the e-KYC process.

  • Check their Aadhaar seeding status on the PM Kisan portal under the 'Know Your Status section.
