Olectra Greentech Ltd unveiled its latest advancements, including the Blade Battery Chassis, a redesigned 12-meter Blade Battery Platform, and newly styled buses at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. 

The Blade Battery, developed by BYD, is a standout feature, offering 30% more energy storage and a range of up to 500 kilometers per charge. It has passed rigorous safety tests like nail penetration and furnace trials without incidents, ensuring reliability and durability with over 5,000 charge cycles.

Advanced Bus Features for Comfort and Safety

The new 9-meter City and 12-meter Coach buses are equipped with advanced features such as fully digital instrument panels, electronic hydraulic power steering, real-time vehicle tracking, reverse park assist, USB charging ports, roof-mounted air conditioning, and cantilever seats. 

Safety enhancements include Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, GPS tracking, CCTV cameras, air suspension, and wheelchair ramps, ensuring accessibility for passengers with special needs.

Eco-Friendly Impact and Nationwide Reach

With over 2,200 electric buses in operation across India, Olectra's fleet has collectively traveled more than 30 crore kilometers, cutting carbon emissions by 2.7 lakh tons—the equivalent of planting 1.24 crore trees. The company has also saved 10 crore liters of diesel, contributing to reduced fossil fuel dependency and cleaner air.

Large Orders and Manufacturing Excellence

Olectra recently secured an order for 5,150 electric buses from MSRTC in Maharashtra. Its buses currently operate in 10 states and one union territory, providing eco-friendly travel to millions. The vehicles are manufactured at its Hyderabad facility, adhering to strict quality standards.

Electric Tippers for Construction and Mining

Olectra also highlighted its electric tippers, which offer pollution-free and noise-free alternatives for industries like construction, roadwork, and mining.
