NueGo Launches Six New Intercity Electric Bus Routes for Festive Season

NueGo, an electric intercity transportation brand by GreenCell Mobility, has launched six new intercity bus routes across India just in time for the festive season. This move will boost sustainable travel options while offering passengers a comfortable and eco-friendly journey.

New Routes in North and South India

The new routes will improve connectivity in both North and South India. In the North, routes like Gurgaon to Dehradun, Noida to Dehradun, and Noida to Chandigarh will enhance access between NCR and neighboring states. In the South, connections such as Coimbatore to Madurai, Bangalore to Mysore, and Bangalore to Vellore will link key cultural and economic hubs in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.

Devndra Chawla, CEO & MD of GreenCell Mobility, expressed the company’s mission to expand its services and enhance intercity travel across the country. He highlighted that these new routes aim to improve connectivity while promoting sustainable travel.

Widespread Operations

Currently, NueGo operates in more than 110 cities with a fleet of 100% electric buses. These buses offer comfortable seating and are emissions-free, ensuring a cleaner travel experience. Each bus goes through 25 safety checks, including both mechanical and electrical inspections, ensuring a safe and reliable ride with a range of over 250 kilometers on a single charge.

Recent Achievement

NueGo recently completed the Kashmir to Kanyakumari (E-K2K) expedition, showcasing the performance of electric buses in various terrains and emphasizing the importance of public engagement in sustainable mobility.

Enhanced Travel Experience and Safety

Since its launch in 2022, NueGo operates over 250 buses, making more than 450 daily departures. In addition to comfortable seating, the buses offer onboard snacks, a superior in-cabin experience, and enhanced safety features. 

The company also focuses on women's safety with its Pink Seat feature and 24/7 helpline for female passengers. Advanced security measures, including CCTV surveillance, GPS tracking, and speed limits, are in place to ensure passenger safety.
