Montra Electric launched its latest range of electric commercial vehicles at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The launch featured two innovative models: the EVIATOR (e-SCV) and the Super Cargo (e-three-wheeler).
The event was graced by Shri H. D. Kumaraswamy, Union Minister of Heavy Industries, alongside Montra Electric's leadership team, including Chairman Mr. Arun Murugappan, Vice-Chairman Mr. Vellayan Subbiah, and Managing Director Mr. Jalaj Gupta.
EVIATOR: A Game-Changer for Small Commercial Vehicles
The EVIATOR, an electric small commercial vehicle with a gross vehicle weight (GVW) of 3.5 tons, delivers exceptional performance. Specifications of EVIATOR:
With a starting price of INR 15.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), the EVIATOR is ideal for mid-mile and last-mile logistics. It also comes with an industry-first warranty of up to 7 years or 2.5 lakh kilometers, ensuring long-term reliability.
Super Cargo: Efficient Last-Mile Transportation
The Super Cargo is a versatile electric three-wheeler designed for last-mile cargo needs. Key highlights include:
Available in three cargo body options, the Super Cargo starts at INR 4.37 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Its category-first features, such as a driver's seatbelt and front disc brakes, enhance safety and functionality.
Additional Highlights: RHINO Electric Heavy Truck
Montra Electric also showcased India’s first 55 Ton Electric Heavy Commercial Truck, RHINO, which has already completed over 5 million kilometers with multiple customers. This marks a significant milestone in heavy electric mobility in India.
Commitment to Clean Mobility
At the launch, Chairman Mr. Arun Murugappan emphasized Montra Electric’s dedication to sustainable transportation. Managing Director Mr. Jalaj Gupta highlighted the EVIATOR as India’s first TRU-EV, designed to ensure over 95% fleet uptime with advanced telematics. He added that the company provides customized charging and aftermarket solutions for maximum vehicle utilization.
