Mahindra Launches Veero 1.1 XXL CNG and Upgraded Veero Diesel

Mahindra & Mahindra has expanded its Veero light commercial vehicle range with the launch of the new Veero 1.1 XXL CNG and the upgraded Veero Diesel. The new CNG model is designed for intra-city logistics, while the diesel version receives major technology, comfort and connectivity upgrades.

The Veero was first launched in September 2024 and introduced Mahindra's Urban Prosper Platform (UPP), India's first ground-up multi-energy modular commercial vehicle platform.

Mahindra Veero 1.1 XXL CNG: Built for City Logistics

The new Mahindra Veero 1.1 XXL CNG comes with a 1.1-tonne payload capacity and a 2,900 mm (9.5-foot) cargo deck. This combination allows operators to carry higher-volume loads while maintaining a compact vehicle footprint.

The vehicle has a 5.1-metre turning radius, making it easier to drive through congested city roads and tight loading or unloading locations.

Power comes from a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine producing 48.5 kW (around 66 PS) of power and 98 Nm of torque.

Mahindra claims an ARAI-certified fuel efficiency of 21.4 km/kg. With petrol and CNG combined, the Veero 1.1 XXL CNG offers a claimed driving range of more than 450 km.

The vehicle is suitable for:

• FMCG distribution

• Fruit and vegetable transportation

• E-commerce deliveries

• Parcel and courier services

• Market load transportation

• Other intra-city logistics operations

The Pastel Riversand colour will cost an additional ₹5,000. Customer availability is planned from September 20, 2026.

Upgraded Mahindra Veero Diesel Gets New Features

The upgraded Mahindra Veero Diesel receives several new technology and comfort features under Mahindra's 'Soch Se Aage' philosophy.

A major addition is the new 26.03 cm (10.25-inch) touchscreen, which supports Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and voice commands with multiple language options.

The upgraded diesel range also gets cruise control, improving driving comfort during longer journeys.

Comfort, Safety and Connectivity Features

The Veero Diesel offers features such as:

• Heater with AC

• Reclining driver's seat with adjustable headrest

• Flat-fold seats with sleeping provision

• Door armrest

• D+2 seating arrangement

• Driver airbag

• Reverse parking camera

• Power windows

• Fast-charging ports

Power windows and fast-charging ports will now be standard across all variants.

Mahindra has also enhanced its iMAXX connected vehicle technology. The system now includes remote AC control along with more than 50 connected features such as vehicle tracking, geofencing, route planning, vehicle health tracking and fuel tracking.

No DEF Requirement with LNT Technology

Another important update is the introduction of LNT technology in the Veero Diesel. This technology removes the requirement for DEF/AdBlue, helping reduce an additional maintenance requirement for commercial vehicle operators.

Upgraded Mahindra Veero Diesel Price

The Grey colour option will carry an additional ₹5,000 premium. The upgraded Veero Diesel is available for customers from September 8, 2026.
