Mahindra Commercial Vehicle sales for November 2023 - A 16% growth with a total of 28,779 sold in India

Mahindra records a 16% growth in commercial vehicle sales for November 2023. The LCV < 2T category saw the highest growth with a 54% YoY change.

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., one of the leading commercial vehicle manufacturing companies in India has revealed the sales numbers for November 2023. The company reported a growth of 16% with total CV sales reaching 28,779 units in the month.

Mahindra reported a significant rise in truck sales compared to last year’s total of 24,789 units.

LCV < 2T

For Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV) with Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) less than 2T, Mahindra reported tremendous growth. The brand saw a hike of 54% with total sales reaching 4,083 units for the category. The total sales numbers for November stood at 2,643 units last year.

LCV 2T - 3.5T

The company saw a slight growth of 7% with total CV sales of 17,284 units for the LCV 2T - 3.5T category. The previous year the manufacturer had sold 16,193 units under the same category.

LCV > 3.5T + MHCV

The LCV > 3.5T + MHCV (Medium & Heavy Commercial Vehicles) segment also reported a growth of 12% with sales totalling 844 units which last year were at 755 units.

3 Wheelers (Including EV)

The 3 wheelers category includes rickshaws and 3 wheeler cargo carrying commercial vehicles manufactured by Mahindra. This category also witnessed a notable growth of 26% with total sales amounting to 6,568 units during the month of November this year. To compare, the brand had sold 5,198 total CV units under this category last year.
