Madhya Pradesh MSP Registration 2026-27: Farmers Can Register Free for Paddy, Jowar and Millet Sale

Farmers in Madhya Pradesh who want to sell paddy, jowar and millet (bajra) to the government at the Minimum Support Price (MSP) can now register for the Kharif Marketing Year 2026-27. The registration process is underway through the e-Uparjan portal, and farmers can complete their registration until October 10, 2026.

The state government has advised farmers not to wait until the last date. Early registration can help avoid problems during crop procurement, particularly with document verification, Aadhaar authentication and bank account validation.

So far, 13,508 farmers in Madhya Pradesh have completed their registration. More than 1,100 registration centres have also been established across the state to make the process easier and more accessible.

Registration Available at More Than 1,100 Centres

Farmers can register by visiting their nearest designated registration centre. Free registration facilities are available at Gram Panchayat, Janpad Panchayat and Tehsil offices. Farmers can also register without paying a fee at centres operated by cooperative societies and cooperative marketing organisations.

At these centres, the farmer's Aadhaar card, photo identification and required land-related documents will be checked. The concerned registration centre will also maintain records of the documents submitted and verified during the registration process.

This facility is intended to ensure that farmers can complete the MSP registration process locally without having to depend on private service providers.

Registration Through MP Online and CSCs

Farmers who choose to register through MP Online kiosks, Common Service Centres (CSCs), Public Service Centres or private cyber cafes can also complete the process.

However, unlike the designated government and cooperative registration centres, these service providers can charge a registration fee. The maximum amount that can be charged is ₹50, and farmers should not be asked to pay more than this amount.

Farmers are therefore advised to check the applicable fee before completing registration through these centres.

Documents Required for MSP Registration

Farmers will need to provide the following documents during registration:

• Aadhaar card

• Photo identification document

• Required land-related documents

Aadhaar authentication is an important part of the registration and crop sale process. It will be completed through OTP or biometric verification.

The farmer's name recorded in the land records, including khasra and account records, must also match the name on the Aadhaar card. If there is a difference between the names, the discrepancy will be verified through the concerned Tehsil office.

Farmers who need to update their biometric details or mobile number can use active Aadhaar registration centres at the district and tehsil levels as well as Aadhaar Facilitation Centres available through post offices.

Special Registration Rules for Sharecroppers and Forest Lease Holders

Special arrangements have been made for certain categories of farmers, including sharecroppers, Kotwars and forest lease holders.

These farmers can register only at registration centres operated by cooperative societies and cooperative marketing organisations. Their details will be verified by the Revenue Department.

Registration for these categories will be considered valid only after the required verification has been completed.

Payment Will Go to Aadhaar-Linked Bank Account

Bank account verification is another important part of the registration process. The government has introduced this step to make crop payments more transparent and faster after procurement.

Payment for the crops sold under government procurement will be made, on a priority basis, to the farmer's Aadhaar-linked bank account.

However, certain accounts will not be eligible for registration. These include:

• Inactive bank accounts

• Joint bank accounts

• Payment bank accounts such as Fino, Airtel and Paytm

To confirm that the bank account provided by the farmer is genuine and operational, the Madhya Pradesh State Supply Corporation will conduct a ₹1 test transaction through the e-Uparjan/JIT portal during registration.

Farmers should therefore ensure that their eligible bank account is properly linked with Aadhaar before completing the registration process.

Farmers Advised Not to Wait Until October 10

The Madhya Pradesh government has directed District Collectors to ensure that information about the registration process reaches farmers across their respective districts.

Officials have been asked to spread awareness through village public announcements, Gram Panchayat information boards and banners at mandis. District and tehsil-level Aadhaar centres and post office Aadhaar Facilitation Centres have also been instructed to remain active so that farmers can update their biometric details and mobile numbers where required.

With the registration deadline set for October 10, 2026, farmers planning to sell paddy, jowar or millet to the government at MSP should complete the process as early as possible. Early registration can provide sufficient time to resolve issues related to Aadhaar, land records or bank account verification before procurement begins.
