The Madhya Pradesh government launched the Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana in June 2023 to provide financial assistance to eligible women and help them become more financially independent.
Under the scheme, beneficiaries currently receive ₹1,500 every month. The financial support helps women manage household expenses, meet their daily needs and contribute to their families' financial stability.
By September 2026, the government had distributed 40 installments under the scheme. The latest payment marks the release of the 41st installment, benefiting approximately 1.25 crore eligible women across Madhya Pradesh.
The scheme aims to strengthen women's financial security and improve their ability to manage household expenses independently.

How to Check the ₹1,500 Payment Through Your Bank Account
Women who do not want to use the official website can also verify the installment through their bank accounts. The following methods can help confirm whether the money has arrived:
Bank passbook: Visit your bank branch or use a passbook updating facility to check recent transactions.
Bank SMS: Check messages received from your bank for a credit notification.
Mobile banking: Log in to your bank's mobile application and review your recent account transactions.
UPI applications: Check your account balance and transaction history through a linked UPI app.
