The KSRTC is leasing 50 AC e-buses under the Centre's FAME II scheme.

After the introduction of electric bus services from Bengaluru to Mysuru, the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) will operate buses on five additional inter-city routes.
Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai flagged off 25 buses at Vidhana Soudha on Monday. "The service offered between Bengaluru and Mysuru garnered good patronage. We are hoping for more ridership even on new lines." a KSRTC spokesperson stated.
In the next few days, the KSRTC would run buses from Bengaluru to Virajpet, Madikeri, Chikkamagaluru, Shivamogga, and Davangere.
The KSRTC is leasing 50 AC e-buses under the Centre's FAME II scheme. A private player will operate a total of 50 buses. These new buses were dubbed 'EV Power Plus' by the KSRTC.
