JK Tyre & Industries Limited has appointed Mr. Mandar Deo as President-India. He will report to Dr. Raghupati Singhania, Chairman and Managing Director, and Mr. Anshuman Singhania, Managing Director. Mr. Deo will be based in Delhi.

Mr. Mandar Deo, aged 50, brings over 20 years of leadership experience. He holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Pune University, a master's degree, and a PhD from Penn State University. He also earned an MBA from the Kelly School of Business at Indiana University. Mr. Deo has held senior roles at Exide Energy Solutions Limited, Cummins India, and Cummins Inc.

Dr. Raghupati Singhania welcomed Mr. Deo to JK Tyre. He expressed confidence in Mr. Deo's ability to provide strong leadership and guide the company on a new growth path. The appointment is a key part of JK Tyre’s strategy to strengthen its leadership and expand its market presence.

JK Tyre maintains a strong focus on innovation. The company’s Raghupati Singhania Centre of Excellence in Mysore serves as a global research and technology hub. This center features advanced assessment and testing facilities.

JK Tyre has introduced India’s first 'Smart Tyre' technology. Its Tyre Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS) enable real-time monitoring of tyre pressure and temperature. The company is also the first Indian tyre manufacturer to join the global RE100 initiative. JK Tyre aims to achieve 100% renewable electricity by 2050.
