One of the key highlights of the ECOLIFE electric bus is its zero-emission capability, aligning with global efforts to combat climate change. JBM estimates that over a decade of operation, each ECOLIFE bus will contribute to preventing approximately 1000 equivalent tons of carbon dioxide emissions and save a substantial 420,000 litres of diesel fuel.
Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, these buses cater to modern commuter needs. Including fast-charging lithium-ion batteries ensures minimal downtime, enabling efficient operation throughout the day. Moreover, passengers can enjoy a range of amenities, including a Real-Time Passenger Information System (PIS), panic buttons for emergencies, an Automatic Bus Vehicle Location System, CCTV cameras, and public address systems.
The Real-Time Passenger Information System serves as a convenient tool for passengers, keeping them updated on bus locations and schedules. Meanwhile, robust safety features like CCTV cameras provide continuous surveillance, enhancing passenger security during transit.
Passengers also have the convenience of stop request buttons to signal upcoming stops, improving the overall journey experience. In addition to passenger-centric features, the ECOLIFE electric bus incorporates utility elements such as a Vehicle Health Monitoring System and a Fire Detection & Suppression System. These features not only ensure operational efficiency but also contribute to enhanced safety standards.
Furthermore, the ergonomically designed dashboard of the ECOLIFE bus prioritizes driver focus and safety, offering a comfortable and intuitive interface for seamless operation.
