JBM Launches Eco-Friendly Electric Buses in Odisha

These electric buses have modern and advanced features such as Real-Time Passenger Information Systems, emergency panic buttons, vehicle tracking, CCTV, public address systems, and advanced safety measures.
The introduction of 200 electric buses will reduces dependency on diesel.

Key Highlights:
•    Berhampur, Bhubaneswar, and Cuttack got 200 new electric buses.

JBM Auto, an electric bus manufacturer, has expanded its business into the East Indian market. Berhampur, Bhubaneswar, and Cuttack got 200 new JBM ECOLIFE Electric AC Buses. These buses will run on electricity and are better for the environment.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik flagged off these electric buses. This marks an entry for JBM into the eastern Indian market. JBM already runs lots of electric buses in other places. These new buses are smaller in size, which is good for getting around town. 

Nishant Arya, Vice Chairman & MD of JBM Group, shared his heartfelt appreciation with the state government for entrusting them with the chance to serve the people of Odisha. He passionately highlighted the innovative technology, advanced safety features, and delightful comfort of these electric buses, emphasizing their pivotal role in reducing pollution levels within the cities.

The introduction of these 9-meter electric buses is expected to make a substantial impact. With zero emissions and reduced operational costs compared to traditional diesel buses, these electric vehicles promise to mitigate air pollution.

Over the next ten years, they are projected to save approximately 1000 tons of CO2 emissions and 420,000 liters of diesel. JBM already operates more than 1500 electric buses in ten states and major Indian airports.

With a track record of operating over 1500 electric buses across 10 states and major Indian airports, JBM's commitment to sustainable mobility is evident. 

These buses aren't just environmentally friendly but they're packed with cutting-edge features designed to prioritize both passenger safety and comfort.
