electric buses in india

The Chief Minister of Haryana, Manohar Lal Khattar, made a special move on International Reducing CO2 Emissions Day. He officially started the first 5 JBM ECOLIFE electric buses at Panipat Bus Depot. These buses are special because they run entirely on electricity, making them eco-friendly and helping to reduce air pollution.

JBM Auto, a company based in Haryana that makes buses, provided these advanced electric buses. It's a big deal for the state because it is committed to using cleaner and greener transportation. The event was attended by important people like government officials, industry leaders, and other respected figures.

JBM Auto's Contribution to Sustainable Mobility

This is part of a larger plan called the National Electric Bus Programme. JBM Auto is planning to provide 375 electric buses in Haryana as part of this initiative. To ensure these buses work well, JBM Auto has set up everything they need at the Panipat Bus Depot, like power and charging stations.

End-to-End Electric Bus Ecosystem at Panipat Bus Depot

To ensure the smooth operation of the electric buses, JBM Auto has established an end-to-end electric bus ecosystem at the Panipat Bus Depot. This comprehensive system includes power and charging infrastructure, aligning with the growing demand for sustainable public transportation.

Expansion of Electric Bus Manufacturing Capacity

In a recent development, JBM Auto inaugurated one of the largest electric bus manufacturing plants in Haryana. With the capacity to produce 20,000 electric buses annually, the manufacturing facility reinforces the commitment to scaling up the production of eco-friendly public transportation options.
