IntrCity SmartBus, a leading inter-city mobility platform in India, is expanding its services in West India, focusing on Mumbai and Pune. The company plans to introduce 50 more routes in the region. 

This expansion comes in response to a 60 per cent increase in demand during this summer holiday compared to last year. The West region, which includes Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Goa, has seen an average occupancy rate of 98 per cent.

The company plans to raise its fleet size by 300 per cent this year to meet rising demand and improve travel connectivity in these dynamic regions. In addition, it will install 100 washroom-equipped buses in the western region, considerably improving travel ease and comfort.

Exclusive boarding lounges were recently opened in Mumbai, Pune, Goa, and Indore, demonstrating the company's dedication to providing passengers with safe and comfortable boarding experiences. More boarding lounges are scheduled to open in the coming quarter.
