In India, a long-distance bus service will be inaugurated next year. The company has announced ambitions to extend its FlixBus operations in India. The first intercity green lines are expected to open in early 2024, with the business launching services in Chile in H2CY23.

According to a press release from Flix, India's increasing desire for sustainable and safe communal travel solutions, with online travel booking' systems growing rapidly, has been identified as a vital evidence point for the company's market success.

The company wants to enter the Indian market to create a considerable number of employment and contribute to the overall economic growth of the country. While the corporation handles technology, customer support, quality management, network planning, marketing, and sales, the day-to-day operations and driver management are handled by local partners.

The company has already begun the process of building a local team in India. Surya Khurana has been chosen as the Country Managing Director. He has extensive experience in the mobility industry.

In the next months, Khurana and the local team in Delhi will be seeking more motivated personnel and local bus partners to help Flix establish itself as the market leader in India.
