Fresh Bus, a new-generation intercity EV bus service, announced the inauguration of its first electric busfleet on the Bengaluru-Tirupati route. Fresh Bus intends to provide a futuristic alternative for quick, economical, and environmentally responsible intercity bus travel in India by using state-of-the-art electric buses.

The company intends to scale to 1,000+ electric buses and 100+ charging stations across India by the end of 2026. Fresh Bus services are now available on the Bengaluru-Tirupati route for a special introductory price of Rs 399 per ticket.

The e-bus service also offers travellers real-time assistance 24 hours a day, seven days a week via the Fresh Bus app and customer care centre. Later this month, the business will also begin operations on the Hyderabad-Vijayawada route.

The newly introduced Fresh Bus is a 12-meter premium coach with 45+ seats. This bus can go up to 400 km at a maximum speed of 90 kmph after charging from 0 to 100% in two hours. Fresh Bus is also outfitted with a number of new technologies to provide intercity bus passengers in India with a premium flight-like in-cabin experience.

Features of the Fresh Bus

The noise-free air-conditioned cabin, 45-degree seat recline, IoT-enabled real-time air-quality and temperature monitoring, amenity kits, personal charging stations, comfortable seating, Wi-Fi, and real-time tracking are among the features of the Fresh bus. This smart buses aim to elevate the bus travel journey.

To ensure passenger safety, the Fresh Bus fleet has regenerative braking, temperature sensors in batteries, CCTV surveillance, medical kits, onboard fire extinguishers, and a pink seat feature for female passengers.

Through narrow safety requirements, vehicle inspections, and well-trained drivers, Fresh Bus wants to reinvent bus travel in India, with a heavy emphasis on customer experience and passenger safety. Fresh Bus drivers are subjected to a stringent screening process that includes alcohol level checks, random drug testing, and frequent training and driving quality reviews.

This will also help to grow the electric vehicle ecosystem and create new jobs for young tech professionals in our country. This demonstrates that it may accomplish sustainable development while also boosting economic growth.

Fresh Bus, unlike other inter-city bus aggregators, is a full stack technology-enabled smart bus operator that builds and owns the customer experience for travellers from finding, tracking, and reserving their electric intercity buses through the FreshBus website.
