Escorts Kubota's market share increased in November.

The Demand for tractors and other types of equipment has returned to a normal state because the festival season is over.

The Agri Machinery Segment of Escorts Kubota sold 7,960 tractors in November 2022, an increase of 11.9% from 7,116 tractors sold in November 2021. Domestic tractor sales in November 2022 were 7,359 tractors, a 13.4% increase from 6,492 tractors sold in November 2021. Export tractor sales in November 2022 were 601 tractors, a -3.7% decrease from 624 tractors sold in November 2021.

The Construction Equipment Segment of the company sold 402 machines during the month, an increase of 28.8% year on year. In November 2021, the segment sold 312 machines.

The Demand for tractors and other types of equipment has returned to a normal state because the festival season is over. While rural sentiments remain positive as a result of improved Rabi sowing aided by a good monsoon this year and higher reservoir water levels. Escorts owns subsidiary tractor brands such as Farmtrac, Powertrac, and Digitrac, which are used in India. It also increased its market share by 2%, to 10.96%.

Despite a 12.2% increase in revenue from operations to Rs 1,883.5 crore in Q2 FY23 over Q2 FY22, the company's net profit fell by 50.4% to Rs 87.6 crore.
