Eicher Trucks and Buses, part of VE Commercial Vehicles, launched its electric-first range of Small Commercial Vehicles (SCVs), the Eicher Pro X Range, at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. This new range marks Eicher’s entry into the 2-3.5T segment, aiming to revolutionize mid and last-mile logistics in India.

The Eicher Pro X Series has been designed with input from leading logistics players to provide customized solutions for last-mile deliveries. It features high-efficiency capabilities that focus on energy savings and increased productivity.

Vinod Aggarwal, MD & CEO of VE Commercial Vehicles, emphasized that the Pro X range reflects the company’s legacy in innovation and leadership in the Light and Medium Duty Trucks segment. He also pointed out that this launch aligns with India’s growth agenda, driving transformation in logistics.

Key Features of the Eicher Pro X Range:

  • Largest Cargo Space: The 2-3.5T GVW range offers the largest cargo loading space in its segment.
  • Best-in-Class Energy Efficiency: Maximized energy efficiency allows for more trips per charge.
  • Driver Comfort and Safety: Air-conditioned cabins, lie-flat seats, and advanced safety features like Driver State Monitoring.
  • Improved Maneuverability: A superior turning radius for better city distribution, with excellent visibility.
  • Unmatched Uptime: 24/7 support from Eicher’s Uptime Centre, alongside FOTA-enabled telematics for seamless updates and enhanced productivity.

The Eicher Pro X Series is manufactured at Eicher's state-of-the-art, Industry 4.0 Bhopal plant, spread across 147.8 acres, promoting sustainability. It is also assembled on an all-women production line, highlighting the company’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.

In addition to the vehicle features, Eicher’s digital-first dealership network ensures a connected and efficient retail experience, with real-time fleet management and uptime support. Eicher has also partnered with Charging Point Operators and Charger OEMs to accelerate India’s charging infrastructure.

The launch of the Pro X Range represents a significant milestone for Eicher Trucks and Buses, as it seeks to reshape the future of logistics with sustainable, electric solutions.
