Speaking about the initiative, Vinod Aggarwal, MD & CEO, VECV, said: “Truck and bus drivers form the backbone of our logistics system. • Eicher currently operates 13 EMV (Eicher Eye and Ear Screening Mobile Vans) and a fixed center at Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar, Delhi.

  • Collaborations with 10 hospital partners, 2,500 transporters, and government transport departments across 11 states strengthen the initiative.

  • Since its inception, the program has benefited over 2.7 lakh drivers across India.

  • On an annual basis, the Eicher Driver Care Program benefits more than 1.5 lakh drivers.

Training and Development of Drivers

To go beyond health and create long-term benefits, Eicher has also established the Phoenix-Eicher Institute of Driver Training and Research in Latur, Maharashtra.
