Eicher Motors' total commercial vehicle sales rise 11.6% in May 2023

Eicher Motors' total truck sales in May 2023 were 4,296 units, up from 3,843 units in May 2022. It generates an 11.79% increase in overall sales.

Eicher Motors collaborates with Volvo Truck & Buses in India for its commercial vehicles. The Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicle (VECV) Truck Sales Report for May 2023 shows a 13.41% increase in overall sales. However, the company's overall shipments fell 46.9% to 250 units, down from 471 units the previous year.

Eicher Truck Sales Statistics 2023 reported total domestic sales of 4,121 units in May. In comparison, it had 3,434 units sold in May 2022. According to the May Sales Data 2023, Eicher Truck sales in India increased by 20.01%.

Total Volvo Trucks & Buses sales in May were 213 units, up 60.2% year on year from 133 units.

Meanwhile, Eicher Motors reported a combined net profit of 905.6 crores in the fiscal year ending March 2023, representing a year-on-year increase of 48.42%.

Eicher Motors' Domestic Truck Sales

In May 2023, the brand sold 2,713 units in the low-medium duty segment, compared to 2,386 units in May 2022. The Heavy Duty (HD) segment saw a 34.40% increase in sales. It sold 1,408 units in May 2023, up from 1,048 units in May 2022.

Eicher Motors' export Truck Sales

The Low & Medium duty segment saw a decline of 43.50% in sales. In May 2023, it sold only 147 units, compared to 260 in May 2022. The Heavy Duty sector saw a decline of 81.20% in sales. In May 2023, it sold only 28 units, compared to 149 in May 2022. Total Export sales saw a decline of 57.21%. In May 2023, it sold only 175 units, compared to 409 in May 2022.

VE Commercial Vehicles sold 6289 vehicles in May 2023, up from 5637 units in May 2022, representing an 11.6% increase. Export sales were down 46.9% to 250 units.

Revenue in Q4FY32 was 3,804.32 crore, up from 3,193.32 crore in the previous fiscal's fourth quarter.

The EBITDA of the firm was 933.6 crores at the operating level, with margins of 24.5%.
