Eicher trucks and buses sold 6498 units in September 2022, up from 6014 units in September 2021, representing an 8.0% increase.

VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd. (a joint venture of Volvo Group and Eicher Motors) sold 6631 units in September 2022, up 9.2% from 6070 units in September 2021. This includes 6498 Eicher brand vehicles and 133 Volvo brand vehicles.

In the domestic CV market, Eicher trucks and buses sold 5992 units in September 2022, up from 5226 units in September 2021, representing a 14.7% increase. In terms of exports, Eicher branded trucks and buses sold 506 units in September 2022, compared to 788 units in September 2021, a 35.8% decrease. Volvo Trucks and Volvo Buses sold 133 units in September 2022, up from 56 units in September 2021, representing a 137.5% increase.
The consolidated net profit of the company increased by 157.81% to Rs 611 crore in Q1 FY23 from Rs 237 crore in Q1 FY22. Total revenue from operations was Rs 3,397 crore, a 72% increase over Rs 1,974 crore in the same quarter of FY 2021-22.
The share's price dropped 1.73% to Rs 3,610.20 on the BSE.
