Senior leaders from the TAFE Group, including CEO Mr Sandeep Sinha and CFO Mr Parameswara Reddy, were present at the launch. Dealer partners and local farmers joined the celebration, highlighting the importance of the new model for Indian agriculture.
The Eicher 485 AT is equipped with a 47 HP engine, designed to meet the needs of Indian farmers. Its 3300 cc water-cooled engine allows for long hours of operation without overheating. The tractor features a side-shift partial constant mesh gearbox, offering 8 forward and 2 reverse gears. This configuration aims to provide comfort and efficiency during extended fieldwork.
The model includes Hydromatic ADDC hydraulics, which help maintain uniform depth during ploughing. Oil-immersed brakes are fitted for enhanced safety. These features make the Eicher 485 AT suitable for tasks such as operating rotavators, cultivators, and hauling heavy trolleys. The tractor is built to deliver both power and fuel efficiency, supporting daily agricultural activities.
The launch event in Ghazipur was more than a corporate announcement. Eicher delivered 21 new tractors directly to farmers during the ceremony. Senior leaders personally handed over keys and gifts, recognizing the role of farmers in the community. The event emphasized the company's commitment to supporting Indian agriculture with reliable machinery.
The Eicher 485 AT aims to increase productivity on Indian farms. Its combination of technology, power, and reliability addresses the practical requirements of modern farming. The model is positioned as a strong choice for those seeking to upgrade their equipment for daily use.
In related news, Swaraj has introduced the Swaraj 855 FE Protek tractor in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. This model is available in both 2WD and 4WD variants, catering to different farming needs. Kubota's L4508 tractor, with a 45 HP engine, continues to be recognized among Indian farmers for its reliability in mixed farm work.
Farmers considering a new tractor are also advised to carefully choose their financing options. The decision between fixed and floating interest rates can impact the overall cost of ownership. Understanding these options is important when planning a purchase.
