Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV) has recently strengthened its presence in Madhya Pradesh with the inauguration of a new 3S (Sales, Service, and Spares) BharatBenz dealership in Indore. The dealership, established in collaboration with PPS Trucking, marks a significant milestone as the 17th sales and service location for BharatBenz in the state.

Expanding Reach in Madhya Pradesh

The strategic positioning of the dealership adds to the existing network spanning key locations in the state including Rau, Bhopal, Jabalpur, Bela, Katni, Shivpuri, Singrauli, Chattarpur, Sagar, Manawar, and Gwalior. Complementing this, there are six 2S (Service and Spares) and four 1S (Spares) facilities already operational. This expansion aims to enhance accessibility and convenience for customers across Madhya Pradesh.

Enhanced Service Capabilities

With a strong service infrastructure, DICV is equipped to meet the growing demand efficiently. The service network comprises 15 Mobile Service Vans (MRVs) and 49 service bays, capable of servicing up to 24,000 vehicles annually. This emphasis on service quality underscores DICV's commitment to customer satisfaction and support.

Focus on Skill Development

DICV's strategic vision for Madhya Pradesh extends beyond mere expansion. It includes comprehensive training programs aimed at equipping dealers and service staff with the necessary skills to address the unique requirements of customers effectively.

As part of a nationwide initiative, DICV aims to train 8,000 service technicians annually to ensure superior service standards across its network, capable of servicing over 600,000 commercial vehicles annually.

Opportunities in Madhya Pradesh

Sreeram Venkateswaran, President, and Chief Business Officer (Domestic Sales and Service) at Daimler India Commercial Vehicles, emphasized the significance of Madhya Pradesh as a key market. With abundant natural resources, particularly in the mining sector, BharatBenz tippers are positioned as the preferred choice for fleet owners.

Moreover, the state's focus on initiatives like Swacch Bharat opens avenues in road construction and infrastructure, where BharatBenz rigid trucks and tractor-trailers offer compelling advantages to customers.

Nationwide Reach and Safety Standards

BharatBenz's extensive network encompasses over 350 sales and service locations nationwide, strategically located along major national and state highways. This ensures seamless accessibility to customers, with service stations positioned within a two-hour reach on highways.

Notably, BharatBenz trucks boast some of the safest crash-tested cabins in India, meeting the stringent safety standards set by European cab-crash regulations, setting a benchmark for safety in the Indian commercial vehicle industry.
