Daimler Commercial Vehicles Thailand (DCVT) moves forward in the bus market with the new Mercedes-Benz bus chassis OH1626L. After fully reopening the country to tourists, DCVT offers the innovation to support public transit and tourism enterprises. The new model is worth investing in for economic efficiency, reduced air pollution, and environmental friendliness.
Mr Ralf Kraemer, CEO of Daimler Commercial Vehicles (Thailand), Ltd. (Center), and the management team officially unveiled the Mercedes-Benz bus chassis type OH1626L in Thailand for the first time at CenterPoint Entertainment Studio in Bang Na.
The new 12-meter-long bus chassis has a powerful engine OM906LA with a maximum of 260 horsepower and a broader flat torque range of 950 Nm. DCVT has the capacity to provide public transportation and tourism operators with innovation, safety, and comfort.

The bus also includes world-class safety technologies, such as high-performance ABS and Engine Brake, which will increase braking power by up to 30% by engine brake (Top Brake), reducing fuel consumption, ensuring improved safety for both driver and passengers and extending lifetime.
Mercedes-Benz automobiles are known for their comfort and convenience. This new model includes an air suspension system that will deliver a comfortable and convenient ride for both the driver and passengers.
Mercedes-Benz bus chassis model OH1626L was launched at a suggested retail price of 2.65 million baht, with two after-sales service package options. The first is a 2-year or 200,000-kilometer warranty on the powertrain system and engine, while the second is free 17 maintenance parts for 4 years or 240,000 kilometres (whichever comes first).
DCVT's Business Direction for 2023 is to continue to penetrate the truck and bus markets while developing products and services to fulfil the needs of consumers in order to become a leader in trucks and buses.
Furthermore, under the goal of "Leading Sustainable Transportation," the corporation continues to accelerate the development of vehicle technologies to cut emissions.
