CJ Darcl Logistics Limited inks a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tata Motors to improve and develop CJ Darcl's fleet of vehicles and explore logistics service possibilities.
The senior officials of CJ Darcl Logistics Limited stated in a statement that following the MoU, the companies would discuss ways to improve CJ Darcl's fleet and make their operations more environmentally friendly. With extensive annual maintenance contracts, a dedicated service team, and optimized after-sales processes, the engagement also aims to make CJ Darcl's operations more efficient.
"India has been a dynamic market for logistics and is expected to remain a growth outperformer. We have also cooperated with Tata Motors Limited to strengthen our efforts to deliver logistical solutions. This is intended to prioritize operational efficiency. The engagement will centre on determining the most cost-effective vehicle deployment strategy to augment CJ Darcl's fleet while providing on-the-ground support," said Kang Sin Ho, CEO of CJ Logistics Corporation.
According to CRISIL MI&A, India's GDP is predicted to increase at an average of 6.1% between fiscal 2025 and 2027, compared to the International Monetary Fund's estimate of 3.1%. The Indian government launched the Gati Shakti Scheme, National Logistics Policy, Bharatmala Pariyojana, and Sagarmala for the adoption of electric vehicles.
