$25 million raised through equity and debt.
500+ electric trucks planned for FY 2026–27.
Target of 1,500 trucks in 2–3 years.
120% year-on-year company growth.
Focus on industrial freight corridors.
BillionE Mobility, an Indian Electric Mobility-as-a-Service (eMaaS) platform, has raised $25 million in growth capital to expand its electric truck business across key industrial corridors in India. The funding includes a mix of equity and debt and marks the company’s shift from pilot projects to large-scale commercial operations.
The fresh capital will be used to deploy more than 500 electric trucks during the 2026–27 financial year. Along with vehicle deployment, the funds will also support fleet management systems and technology infrastructure to strengthen operational efficiency.
The funding round was backed by ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and financial institutions, including the State Bank of India.
BillionE Mobility has set a long-term target to deploy over 1,500 electric trucks within the next two to three years, depending on customer demand and financing availability. The company focuses on mid-mile and long-haul freight, aiming to reduce emissions from commercial logistics.
Sanjeev Kulkarni, CEO and Co-founder of BillionE Mobility, said the company is moving beyond trials to real-world deployment where reliability and economics are critical. He added that the new funding will help accelerate fleet growth, improve operational readiness, and strengthen partnerships with customers focused on low-carbon logistics.
Kartikey Hariyani, Founder and Chief Platform Architect of the BillionE platform, which includes ChargeZone and Billion Electric, highlighted that the company is seeing 120% year-on-year growth. He also noted that 19-tonne and 55-tonne electric trucks have achieved total cost of ownership parity with diesel trucks on select routes.
The expanded electric truck fleet will cater to industries such as cement, automotive, third-party logistics, metals, FMCG, chemicals, e-commerce, pharmaceuticals, and minerals. These sectors typically operate on fixed routes with high vehicle usage, making them suitable for electric freight solutions.
BillionE Mobility’s growth strategy covers major industrial clusters and freight corridors across India. Its group company CHARGE ZONE, one of India’s largest EV charging networks, is building charging infrastructure along these routes to support electric truck operations.
With the expansion of its electric fleet, BillionE Mobility expects to cut tailpipe emissions and reduce carbon intensity in industrial and freight logistics. The company positions itself as a fully integrated platform, combining electric vehicles, charging infrastructure, and fleet technology to enable zero-emission commercial transport in India.
This funding milestone strengthens BillionE Mobility’s role in accelerating the shift toward clean, sustainable freight movement across the country.

BillionE Mobility’s $25 million funding marks a key step in scaling electric freight transport in India. With plans to deploy over 500 electric trucks by FY 2026–27 and achieve wider adoption across major industries, the company is moving from pilot projects to full commercial operations. Supported by charging infrastructure and proven cost parity on select routes, BillionE is strengthening India’s transition to cleaner logistics.
