Bajaj Auto has expanded its electric mobility lineup with the launch of the WEGO P9018 electric three-wheeler in India. Announced on February 9, 2026, the new model is priced at ₹4.41 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India) and sets a new benchmark by offering the longest certified range in the Indian e-rickshaw segment.

Longest Range in the Electric Three-Wheeler Segment

The Bajaj WEGO P9018 delivers a certified range of 296 kilometers on a single charge, making it the longest-range electric three-wheeler currently available in India. This impressive range is supported by a 17.7 kWh battery pack, which is the largest battery capacity offered in this segment so far.

The extended driving range is achieved through a combination of a high-capacity battery, an upgraded Battery Management System (BMS), regenerative braking technology, and an optimized vehicle design focused on efficiency.

Built for Medium to Long-Distance Operations

Designed to meet the needs of commercial operators, the WEGO P9018 is suitable for medium to long-distance daily use. It comes equipped with a two-speed transmission and offers 36% gradability, allowing it to perform well on varied road and terrain conditions.

The vehicle is aimed at operators in urban, semi-urban, and rural areas who require high passenger and luggage carrying capacity along with dependable performance.
