Ashok Leyland, one of India’s leading commercial vehicle makers, has reported a strong sales performance for February 2026. The company recorded total commercial vehicle (CV) sales of 19,309 units, including domestic and export markets. This represents a 25.9% year-on-year (YoY) growth, compared to 15,339 units sold in February 2025.

The performance was mainly supported by strong domestic demand, especially in the Medium & Heavy Commercial Vehicle segment.

Domestic Commercial Vehicle Sales - February 2026

Ashok Leyland’s domestic market remained the key growth driver. The company sold 18,649 units in February 2026, compared to 14,137 units in February 2025, registering a solid 32% YoY growth.

M&HCV (Medium & Heavy Commercial Vehicles)

The M&HCV segment recorded 11,599 units in February 2026, up from 8,368 units last year. This marks a strong 39% growth, showing improved fleet demand and higher infrastructure activity.

LCV (Light Commercial Vehicles)

The LCV segment reported 7,050 units, compared to 5,769 units in February 2025. This reflects a healthy 22% YoY increase, driven by strong last-mile delivery and small business transportation demand.

Export Sales Performance - February 2026

While domestic sales grew strongly, exports declined during the month. Ashok Leyland exported 660 units in February 2026, compared to 1,202 units in February 2025, registering a 54.2% decline.

Although export volumes declined in February, the strong domestic performance helped the company achieve impressive overall growth.
