Olectra Greentech Limited has appointed Anand Kumar as its new Head of Brand, Marketing, Digital, and Communications, strengthening its leadership team as the company sharpens its focus on electric mobility and clean transportation in India.
Based in Hyderabad, Anand Kumar will lead Olectra Greentech’s brand strategy, marketing initiatives, digital outreach, and corporate communications. His appointment comes at a time when demand for electric buses and sustainable mobility solutions is rising across the country, creating new opportunities for the company to strengthen its market presence.
Before joining Olectra Greentech, Anand Kumar was associated with Switch Mobility, where he handled the Brand, Marketing, Digital, and Communications functions. During his tenure, he progressed from Senior Manager to Head of the function, playing a key role in brand building and communication efforts within the electric mobility segment.
Earlier, he worked with Ashok Leyland as a Marketing Communications Manager, gaining valuable experience in brand and communication strategy in the commercial vehicle industry. He has also held product and marketing roles at Panasonic, further expanding his exposure to large-scale consumer and technology-driven brands.
Anand Kumar began his professional journey at ASKME, where he grew from Management Trainee to Assistant Marketing Manager. Over the years, he built a strong foundation in branding, product marketing, digital campaigns, and corporate communications, which now supports his leadership role at Olectra Greentech.
With Anand Kumar taking charge of brand and communications, Olectra Greentech aims to further enhance its visibility and engagement in India’s fast-evolving green transport and electric mobility market, aligning its messaging with the growing focus on sustainability and clean energy solutions.
