In a significant achievement for the electric vehicle (EV) industry, Altigreen, a leading name in sustainable transportation solutions, has demonstrated the impressive capabilities of its Electric Three-Wheelers by successfully completing a range test challenge covering over 120 kilometres on a single charge.

The company not only showcases the potential of electric three-wheelers for commercial and personal use but also highlights the advancements in battery technology and vehicle efficiency.

Altigreen has finished its 120km 'Range Drive Campaign' in India to raise awareness about its three-wheelers. The Altigreen neEV High Deck and neEV Low Deck three-wheelers were used in the 120km drive, which began at the Altigreen Okhla dealership and ended at the Altigreen Gurugram showroom.

The Altigreen neEV High Deck and neEV Low Deck electric three-wheelers crossed difficult roads with three strategically scheduled halts at Palwal, Sohna, and Rajiv Chowk and demonstrated great driving range and performance throughout the journey.

The neEV Low Deck completed the 120km journey with an amazing 35% battery charge, while the neEV High Deck finished with an impressive 32% battery charge. Throughout the journey, the vehicles made multiple stops to load and unload goods for client delivery.

Altigreen neEV High & Low Deck

The Altigreen neEV High Deck and Low Deck three-wheelers have demonstrated their performance in difficult situations by providing the best range. This accomplishment is due to their sophisticated powertrain, battery arrangement, and other factors.

The innovative 8.25kW electric motor and 11 kWh battery pack power the Altigreen neEV High Deck and neEV Low Deck three-wheelers. This enables the three-wheeler to produce 45Nm of torque and achieve a certified range of 151 km per full charge. This battery and engine setup also allows the vehicles to attain top speeds of up to 53kmph.

Both of them have an 18% gradeability and require about 3 hours and 30 minutes to fully charge the battery. The only difference between the two is the size of the cargo body. The neEV High Deck has a cargo body that measures 1920mm x 1590mm x 1645mm, while the neEV Low Deck has a cargo body that measures 1750mm x 1450mm x 378mm.

One of the key drivers behind this accomplishment is the innovative battery technology incorporated into Altigreen's Electric Three-Wheelers. The vehicles are equipped with advanced lithium-ion battery packs that offer improved energy density and a prolonged lifecycle, ensuring a longer driving range without compromising on performance.

This achievement also highlights the evolution of charging infrastructure, as Altigreen's Electric Three-Wheelers are designed to be conveniently charged using a variety of charging stations, including fast-charging options.
