How Farmers Can Avail the Subsidy

The Uttar Pradesh Agriculture Department has made it easy for farmers to access subsidized seeds. Farmers can visit their nearest Government Agriculture Seed Store to purchase the required seeds.

The process is simple:

  1. Farmers must provide their thumb impression on the POS machine at the seed store.

  2. A slip will be generated showing the farmer’s payable amount (subsidy-adjusted price).

  3. Only the amount mentioned on the slip should be paid — no extra charges are required.

  4. Seeds will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

For additional information or assistance, farmers can contact their nearest Agriculture Department office.

CMV360 Says

This 50% seed subsidy scheme by the Uttar Pradesh government is a timely support for farmers ahead of the Rabi season. By offering improved seeds for wheat, mustard, gram, lentils, peas, and other crops at half price, the government aims to enhance productivity, reduce farming costs, and improve crop quality across the state. Farmers are encouraged to visit their local agriculture centers early to take full benefit of this first-come-first-serve scheme.
