PM Modi to inaugurate World Food India 2025 on Sept 25.

World Food India 2025 is set to become the largest gathering of the global food processing industry in India, with over 1,700 exhibitors and 500 international buyers participating. The event aims to showcase India as a hub for food innovation, investment, and sustainability.
The Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI) will host the fourth edition of World Food India (WFI) from September 25 to 28, 2025, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the event on September 25 at 6:00 PM.
The inaugural session will also be attended by Dmitry Patrushev, Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari and Chirag Paswan, and Ravneet Singh Bittu, Minister of State for Food Processing Industries and Railways.
WFI 2025 will witness participation from:
Over 21 countries
21 Indian states and Union Territories
10 central ministries
5 allied government organisations
New Zealand and Saudi Arabia are partner countries, while Japan, Russia, the UAE, and Vietnam are focus countries.
The mega food event will include:
45+ knowledge sessions with state and country-specific conferences and CXO roundtables.
Participation of 100+ global agri-food leaders.
3rd Global Food Regulators Summit by FSSAI.
The 24th India International Seafood Show focuses on seafood exports.
Reverse Buyer-Seller Meet organised by APEDA with 1,000+ buyers.
Special pavilions such as the Pet Food Pavilion, Technology Pavilion, and MoFPI Start-up Innovation Pavilion.
This year, World Food India will emphasize five major themes:

Positioning India as a Global Food Processing Hub
Innovation in Food Processing & Packaging Technologies
Food for Nutrition & Wellness
Boosting Livestock & Marine Products for Rural Economy
Ahead of the event, Union Minister Chirag Paswan launched a publication titled “Frequently Asked Questions on Different Concepts of Food Processing”, aimed at spreading science-based information and busting myths about processed foods.
