Paddy registration extended till November 6, 2025.
16 districts to benefit from the new deadline.
Only proposed and verified farmers are eligible.
Required documents: land, Aadhaar, and bank passbook.
The government ensures transparency and fair MSP access.
The Madhya Pradesh government has brought good news for farmers by extending the paddy registration deadline to November 6, 2025. This move will allow more farmers to register and benefit from the Minimum Support Price (MSP) scheme. The decision was taken under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and Food Minister Govind Singh Rajput, showing the government’s commitment to the welfare of farmers across the state.
According to Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Protection Minister Govind Singh Rajput, the state government received several suggestions from districts where farmers faced technical issues, bad weather, or a lack of time to complete registration.
To ensure no farmer misses out, the government decided to extend the registration date. This move will now enable more farmers to sell their paddy at MSP and get fair value for their crops.
The extension will benefit farmers from 16 districts, including: Dindori, Mandla, Balaghat, Satna, Chhindwara, Shahdol, Anuppur, Damoh, Seoni, Maihar, Umaria, Jabalpur, Sidhi, Alirajpur, Betul, and Panna.
The registration process will take place in the presence of nodal officers to maintain transparency. District collectors have been directed to ensure a smooth and fair registration process so that every eligible farmer can access the MSP benefits.
As per the Food Directorate’s guidelines, only those farmers whose names are already included in the district proposal list will be allowed to register.
This step ensures that only verified and eligible farmers receive the MSP benefits. Officials from the Food, Cooperative, Revenue, and Agriculture departments will be present at every registration center to assist and verify the details of the applicants.
Farmers are required to bring the following documents for registration:
Land records (ownership or lease papers)
Aadhaar card
Bank passbook
Crop details
Officials will verify these documents before completing the registration process.
Minister Govind Singh Rajput stated that the government is dedicated to ensuring no eligible farmer is deprived of the right to sell paddy at MSP, emphasizing that the goal is to give every farmer the full value of their hard work.
Farmers who have not yet registered can visit their nearest registration center and submit the required documents.
The process will continue till November 6, 2025. Authorities have advised farmers not to wait until the last moment and to complete registration early to avoid any inconvenience.
This decision provides direct relief to thousands of farmers who previously faced difficulties due to technical glitches or time shortages. The move highlights the farmer-friendly approach of the Madhya Pradesh government and its sensitivity toward agricultural issues.
By extending the paddy registration deadline, the government ensures that every deserving farmer can sell their produce at MSP and receive fair compensation for their efforts.
The Madhya Pradesh government’s decision to extend the paddy registration deadline till November 6, 2025, is a welcome relief for farmers. It ensures that those who missed earlier deadlines due to unavoidable circumstances can now register and benefit from MSP. This move reaffirms the government’s commitment to supporting farmers and guaranteeing that every cultivator receives the true value of their hard-earned produce.
