The scheme, which gives financial assistance of ₹1,250 per month, released its 18th installment recently. Along with this payment, women in the state also received a gas refill subsidy under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, adding extra support for households in need.

What is Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana?

The Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana is a government initiative in Madhya Pradesh that provides financial support to women to promote self-reliance and empowerment. Every month, eligible women receive ₹1,250 directly in their bank accounts, helping with daily expenses. To date, 18 installments have been distributed, and the 19th installment is scheduled for December.

Double Benefits in the 18th Installment

In addition to the monthly payment, women in Indore and other regions have also received a subsidy for gas cylinder refills. The gas refill subsidy is available to women who are part of the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, which supplies LPG connections to low-income families. Under this initiative, eligible women can purchase LPG cylinders for only ₹450 each month.

The gas refill subsidy, totaling ₹55.60 crore, was transferred to more than 26 lakh women across Madhya Pradesh who have LPG connections. This support was also extended to beneficiaries of the Social Security Pension Scheme.

Possible Increase in Monthly Support

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has hinted at increasing the monthly assistance amount. The program initially offered ₹1,000 per month, which was then raised to ₹1,250. Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan previously suggested that this amount could be raised to ₹3,000 in the future.

How to Check if the Payment is in Your Account

If you are part of the Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana, follow these steps to see if the 18th installment has reached your account:

1. Visit the official website at cmladlibahna.mp.gov.in.
2. Click on “Application and Payment Status” on the homepage.
3. Enter your application number, membership composite number, and captcha code.
4. Verify the OTP sent to your registered mobile.
5. Click “Search” to see the status of your payment.

This will show you details of all the installments you have received so far.

What to Do If the Payment Has Not Arrived

If you haven't received the installment yet, it could take a couple of days, as payments are transferred via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). Possible reasons for delays may include issues like missing Aadhaar linkage or incomplete eKYC.

If your account details are correct and the payment is still missing, you can register a complaint by calling the scheme's helpline at 91 7552 5555 82. The helpline is available from Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 4 pm.

How to Check Your Gas Refill Subsidy

To check if the gas refill subsidy has been credited, follow these steps:

1. Visit mylpg.in.
2. Select the LPG company that provides your cylinder.
3. Register with your consumer number and registered mobile number.
4. After logging in, click on “View Cylinder Booking History” to see your payment and subsidy details.
