The Madhya Pradesh government has released the 23rd installment of the Chief Minister Ladli Behna Yojana, directly transferring ₹1,552.38 crore to the bank accounts of 1.27 crore women across the state. The amount has been sent via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadavtransferred the amount from Tikarwara village in Mandla district, crediting ₹1,250 to each eligible woman under the Ladli Behna Yojana. During this event, the CM also participated in the Chief Minister’s Mass Marriage-Nikah Program and inaugurated and laid foundation stones for various development works in the area.
Along with the Ladli Behna Yojana installment, the Chief Minister also transferred funds for the following schemes:
Social Security Pension Scheme: ₹340 crore sent to 56.68 lakh beneficiaries
LPG Cylinder Refilling Scheme: ₹57 crore transferred to over 25 lakh women
All these amounts were transferred with just one click through the DBT system.
In a cabinet meeting on April 15, CM Dr. Mohan Yadavannounced a change in the schedule for releasing the scheme’s installments. From now on, the Ladli Behna Yojana installment will be released around the 15th of every month instead of the 10th to ensure consistency.
Women who are part of the scheme can easily check whether the latest installment has been credited to their bank account. Here's how:
Visit the official website: https://cmladlibahna.mp.gov.in
Click on the "Application and Payment Status" option on the home page.
Enter your application number or member overall serial number.
Fill in the captcha code shown on the screen.
You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number.
Enter the OTP and verify it.
Click on the "Search" button.
Your payment status will be displayed on the screen.
This will show whether the 23rd installment has been credited to your account or not.
If the installment hasn't been received, don’t worry. Sometimes DBT payments can take 1–2 days to reflect in the account. However, if it takes longer, follow these steps:
Visit your bank branch to check if your account is linked with Aadhaar and DBT.
If there’s no issue with the bank account, you can file a complaint by:

This move by the Madhya Pradesh government is another step towards empowering women and supporting them financially through regular monthly assistance.
