In a significant move aimed at boosting their income, the state government has announced an increase in the price of sugarcane by ₹20 per quintal. This decision was made under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar during the Pragati Yatra in West Champaran.
This hike is expected to benefit sugarcane farmers substantially, promote sugarcane production, and support the sugar industry in Bihar.
