Owners can look for their local Van Centre using their vehicle registration number before deciding which servicing and MOT jobs to arrange.

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has unveiled a new portal.

It enables van owners to schedule their next servicing with real-time price and availability. Because the online service booking tool is fully connected with the customer's vehicle history, active service plans and required maintenance are displayed immediately.

Owners can look for their local Van Centre using their vehicle registration number before deciding which servicing and MOT jobs they want.

The new tool also indicates any scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, such as timing belt replacement, front and rear brake pad replacement, or brake fluid replacement. The VW Van Centre provides real-time pricing for each choice on the servicing menu.

A live calendar allows consumers to choose their preferred date and time, as well as whether they want vehicle drop-off, vehicle collection, or a loan vehicle.

Kirsi Stewart, digital manager at Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles stated that "We know from our previous online service booking tool that more van owners want to communicate with us digitally and at a time that is convenient to them. This new solution improves many additional components while keeping customers first, and it is an excellent addition to the whole aftersales experience.

The tool offers transparent pricing and real-time availability, relieving the burden of servicing and maintenance. Our Working With client commitment, which now includes mobile servicing and extended operating hours, is all about making life easier at every turn."

Following the debut of a new online finance calculator earlier this month, the online service booking tool is the next step in Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles' digital transformation. When purchasing their next van, private or commercial customers can use the calculator to analyze and compare various financing options.
